Looking to adopt papillon or silky pup.

hi, had recently discussed with my mum about getting a dog to be her companion at home as she is spend a lot of her time alone at home and she also stated that she had always wanted to have dogs with long coat so she can pamper it and dress it up like a princess.
We had read up and researched on various dogs related books and article and had decide to adopt a dog instead. Had also approached a few of my relative whu had dog owner experience and asked for advices.

After many discussion and deliberation, we had decide on papillon or silky terrier as our pet companion. thus i was hoping if there is any dog lover here whu currently have any of the above breed dog for adoption?
preferable one between the age of 3 mths to 12 mths old. thanks

Since you know how difficult it is to adopt a puppy, would you and your mum like to consider older ones? Dogs that are a few years old are usually more mellow than hyperactive puppies and make better companions. A pup would be a lot more interested in playing rough games like tug of war, chase (and like many members have discovered, Biting!) than sitting still and letting someone doll them up with clothes.
