Seriously looking to adopt a kitten (below 3 months)

Currently, I have a 13 year old male cat, who was born at home and raised by my family and I, so we're not new to taking care of cats from birth. We have also fostered kittens without a mother before, so we are definitely experienced. I also have an animal loving dog who loves my cat a lot, so she is of no issue to a new addition to the family as well.

However, I am looking to adopt a kitten who is preferably less than 3 months old, and male, so that the adaptation phase would be easier on everyone. Kittens tend to be more curious, daring and less territorial at a younger age; which are some of the preferred characteristics of the kitten as I have other pets in the house as well. I would not want to stress him/her too much with a new environment and other animals if he/she is more to the timid side.

Plus, my current cat would think of the new addition as a younger bro/sis instead of a threat. Any older, and I might think there could be territorial issues between my current and the new one.

A smooth and good cohesion is what I hope to achieve out of adopting the new kitten.
